Dutch Berry Sheriff's Office

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Office Manager, create engaging content for keeping the community informed about things that are happening in Dutch Berry as well as at the Dutch Berry Sheriff's Office. Content can include safety tips, public statements, press releases, or just general topics assigned by the Office Manager. 

Qualifications:

• Be able to conduct research to support your writing (preferred)
• Be able to incorporate feedback and make improvements to your work
• Understand the needs and motivations of their target audience (preferred)
• Must be self-motivated and passionate about your work

We are aware that some copywriters have degrees in English, Marketing, or Communications, while many are self-taught. At the Dutch Berry Sheriff's Office the most important skill is the ability to write in an engaging, professional tone for most content while still being able to use a more playful tone for some of our content as well.
